  1. Day 1 Arrival Delhi

    After arriving at New Delhi International airport, kindly clear the immigration and visa formalities, and proceed to the arrival lounge through the green channel. Our representative will wait at the arrival with a placard in your name to greet you. Thereafter you will chauffeured to the hotel.

  2. Day 2 Delhi – Jorhat (By Flight)

    Early in the morning we will shift you to the Airport to board flight for Jorhat where on arrival we will drive to Neamati Ghat to board the MV Mahabaahu. All off us will gather on the open deck to enjoy the first sail and scan the river for a fleeting sight of the Gangetic Dolphins.
    Later we will proceed into the evening with a talk on ‘Sibsagar and the Ahom civilization’.

  3. Day 3 SIBSAGAR/ HOME HOSTED LUNCH

    After an early breakfast, we start our day-excursion to Sibsagar, the ancient city and capital of the Tai-speaking Ahoms. The Shiva Dol, which was constructed in the year 1734 is believed to be the highest Shiva temple in India.
    We will visit Kareng Ghar which was the palace of the Ahom Kings and also to Rang Ghar which was a place for hosting wrestling bouts and buffalo fights and other entertainment or important meetings of the Royals and their guests.
    Later we will drive to a Tea Estate for a relaxed afternoon where we will enjoy a traditional Assamese lunch with the Tea-estate family who have been involved in the tea business over a period of a century.
    We return to MV Mahabaahu by sunset and enjoy a relaxed evening in the Soma lounge

  4. Day 4 MAJULI ISLAND VISIT/ MISHING VILLAGE VISIT

    As we have our breakfast we sail towards Majuli which is the largest river island in the world and the seat of Vaishnav culture We drive to Kamlabari Satra to witness the Vaishnavite priests dancing to the rhythm of cymbals, drums and chanting in the temple premise.
    We enjoy hot lunch on MV Mahabaahu and sail towards the closest Mishing Village where all Mishing Women are expert weavers and The indoor life of a Mishing person revolves around the kitchen area where the family can get together.
    After the Mishing Village MV Mahabaahu heads towards Dhansiri Mukh where the waters of Brahmaputra and Dhansiri meet, and later in the evening we can witness the stars on a deserted island and proceed for dinner.

  5. Day 5 BOAT SAFARI

    We will proceed for the safari in our tenders for about two hours where the shores are high but one can see roof turtles on protruding drift wood, water lizards, otters, elephants, wild buffaloes, rhinos, and many more.
    We will spend the evening on a deserted island with bonfire and later on enjoy dinner on MV Mahabaahu.

  6. Day 6 WEAVER’S VILLAGE AT BISWANATH GHAT/ SAIL TO SILGHAT/ TEA ESTATE VISIT AND/OR JUTE

    We will visit the Shiva Dol and then enjoy a walk through the weaver’s village and see how this suburban village thrives.
    We sail on for the next couple of hours after which we will reach Silghat from where we will take a short drive to the Kaliabore tea estate, which is a vast expanse of undulating land with tea bushes. We will proceed to the tea factory to see the process of finally producing Assam Tea and coming to terms with ‘all that goes into preparing a cup-of-tea.’
    By sunset, we will enjoy a cultural evening on the ship and will have an early dinner.

  7. Day 7 KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK/ SAIL TOWARDS A DESERTED ISLAND

    We will rise very early today and after a warm cup of tea and some snacks, we will drive out towards the Kaziranga National Park which is home to the One-Horned Indian Rhinoceros.
    Later we will reach the Kohora Mihimukh range of the National Park where we will go for once-in-a-lifetime elephant-backed safari where we will search for the elusive rhinoceros, tigers, swamp deer among others.
    After breakfast we drive on to Bagori, the Western Range of Kaziranga and get into the open jeeps for some more wildlife adventure
    Later we will return to MV Mahabaahu for a leisurely lunch and a relaxed afternoon.

  8. Day 8 A VILLAGE VISIT/ FULL DAY SAIL/PEACOCK ISLAND

    We move on to breakfast while MV Mahabaahu lifts anchor and heads on towards an island that is occupied predominantly by angle speaking Muslim community who are involved in extensive farming. After completing our breakfast then proceed for a visit to get an insight on village life
    Later we return to the ship for lunch and sail towards the Peacock Island which is home to some Golden Langurs after which we sail towards Pandu Port and get ready for the farewell dinner.

  9. Day 9 GUWAHATI/ KAMAKHYA TEMPLE VISIT/ DELHI

    After completing our breakfast we drive to the Kamakhya Temple which is devoted to the goddess of desire. Later We arrive at the International airport in Guwahati for Delhi and bid farewell to Assam.

  10. Day 10 Delhi Sightseeing

    After completing your breakfast, in New Delhi, we will visit to the Qutub Complex in order to travel back to the time when Islamic rule had just begun in Delhi. From there, you can move on to Lutyens Delhi, in order to cover monuments that reflect the spirit of independent India such as The President’s House, Parliament and India Gate Memorial among others.

    After your lunch in Old Delhi, we will take you to the Red Fort, built by Emperor Shah Jahan in 1638 of the Mughal Dynasty along with Jama Masjid, the mosque also built by Shah Jahan and is the largest in India. Also you can go for a popular Bazaar Walk in Old Delhi which will take you to the busy and lively Chandni Chowk area.

  11. Day 11 Delhi – Agra

    After your breakfast we would take you to Agra which is home to India’s most famous landmark, the Taj Mahal.
    Later in the afternoon proceed to visit Agra Fort, built by Emperor Akbar, which is a mixture of the Islamic and Hindu styles of architecture.

  12. Day 12 Agra – Fatehpur Sikri – Jaipur

    Early in the morning we will visit Taj Mahal at sunrise time (Closed on Fridays) which is a UNESCO Heritage Site as well as one of the seven modern wonders of the world in order to catch the sun rising over the Taj Mahal. In the soft morning light, as the mist rises from the Yamuna River, it seems to float like a mirage above the surrounding landscape.
    After your breakfast we will take you to Jaipur via where enroute you can visit Fatehpur Sikri which is a UNESCO World Heritage site and is a deserted, red Sandstone City, which Emperor Akbar built as his capital and palace in the late 16th century. You will also be visiting the Buland Darwaza which is the largest gateway in the world.

    Continue your travel to Jaipur which is the first planned city of India and is a treasure-trove of culture, art and history, famous for its colour, life style and Rajasthani cuisine and also a city exuding royal heritage and extravagant richness.

  13. Day 13 Jaipur

    After completing your breakfast, we will be visiting Amber Fort which is cuddled in elegant and craggy hills and represents a fascinating mix of Hindu and Mughal architecture. In the afternoon, we will take you to City palace which is located in the middle of the fortified city.

  14. Day 14 Jaipur – Dera Amer excursion

    After completing our breakfast we will proceed for a excursion tour to Dera Amer where we will enjoy the Elephant ride, jeep safari into the village. Later drive back to Jaipur for Overnight stay.

  15. Day 15 Jaipur – Delhi - Departure

    We will drive you to Delhi after you have completed your breakfast and will shift you to the International airport to board flight for hometown with sweet memories of India Tour. Please allow a minimum of 2 hours for flight check-in formalities at the airport.
